Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has published the list of the top 20 largest taxpayers in the country for 2024.
According to the information, last year, 949 large taxpayers paid nearly 123.3 trillion soums in taxes.
Of this amount, 70.2 trillion soums were contributed by the top 10 largest state-owned taxpayers, while private companies paid 8.6 trillion soums.
Leading the list among state enterprises in terms of tax payments is the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NGMK), which transferred 35.46 trillion soums to the budget.
The second place is held by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AGMK), with tax payments totaling 10.78 trillion soums.
The third and fourth positions are occupied by the companies "Navoiuran" (4.6 trillion soums) and Uzbekneftegaz (4.19 trillion soums), respectively.
In addition, other state-owned enterprises in the top 10 include "Hududgazta’minot" with 4 trillion soums, "Uzgaztrade" (3.87 trillion soums), UzAuto Motors (3.36 trillion soums), "Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex" (1.43 trillion soums), the National Bank of Uzbekistan (1.42 trillion soums), and "Uzbektelecom" (1.1 trillion soums).
Among the largest private taxpayers, the top spot is held by UzBAT, which paid 2.94 trillion soums in taxes.
The second place goes to Tashkent Tobaco with tax payments of 1 trillion soums, followed by Gid License Plate with 845 billion soums.
Other major private taxpayers include Enter Engineering (844.4 billion soums), Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistan (634.2 billion soums), Kapitalbank (610.3 billion soums), Unitel (Beeline, 576.6 billion soums), Hamkorbank (539.9 billion soums), International Beverages (342.8 billion soums), and ADM Jizzakh (336 billion soums).
