Uzbek President Islam Karimov congratulated the diplomats on their appointment to both honorable and responsible posts.
Swiss Ambassador Boti said that the Uzbek-Swiss relations were dynamically developing. She has further underscored that as a high-ranking diplomat she would channel all her efforts to consolidate the bilateral cooperation.
“Both Uzbekistan and India do not practically feel a serious impact of the world financial crisis,” Ambassador Alquadri of India said, while speaking to the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan. “As diplomat I am going to channel all my efforts and energy to further the bilateral relations between India and Uzbekistan.”
Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic are reliable partners. The Uzbek-Czech economic relations are based on such documents as the agreements on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, mutual protection and promotion of investments.
At the Oqsaroy Residence Ambassador Kopecky also answered the questions by a pool of journalists set to cover the official ceremony of granting credentials.
He spoke of the gradual development of bilateral relations, as well as enormous potential enjoyed both by the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan. The newly appointed Czech envoy to Tashkent has underscored that he would pay a special attention to implementation of the untapped opportunities.
