Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Center for E-Government and Digital Economy Project Management under the National Agency for Project Management (NAPU) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Unified Integrator UZINFOCOM in September 2019 will present a new optimized version of the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services (SPIPS).
For easy and comfortable use of the portal by citizens of Uzbekistan, a new interface was developed, and for further development and expansion of functionality, the developers initiated the acceptance of proposals and comments.
“From the very beginning, the project was received very positively by citizens and immediately gained success among the population, but gradually it turned from a tool for working with government agencies into a kind of complaints book. With the creation of a virtual reception room of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev pm.gov.uz, which assumed the function of working directly with the population on all issues, SPIPS began to function in its main mission - the provision of public services to individuals and legal entities. It focuses on the consideration of appeals of citizens and business entities that can make a request to local and state government bodies, and local government authorities, ”- Emil Gimranov, General Director of UZINFOCOM Integrator.
Current changes in the portal are aimed at further development and implementation of information technologies in the spheres of the economy and social life of the population, increasing the efficiency of public administration, creating favorable conditions for the development of business and private entrepreneurship, simplifying access to public services and improving usability. Today, almost all government organizations are aware of SPIPS, they know how to work with it, and the level of awareness among the population is also growing.
The main feature of using SPIPS is its adaptive lightweight design. The user does not have to have a desktop computer, it is enough to go through authorization once using a smartphone or tablet. Using the portal opens up a wide range of possibilities for obtaining public services, finding the necessary information, promptly resolving business issues and much more.
In the updated version of the portal, unlike the old one, the opportunity has been created to get acquainted with all state services without mandatory authorization in a single identification system.
In order to create opportunities for the population to more easily and conveniently find the necessary public services, the section "Life situations" has been created. The section will group government services related to any particular situation. For example, in the block “Birth of a child”, all state services related to this event will be presented: issuing relevant certificates, receiving material assistance, etc. In the “Wedding” block, the corresponding services will be presented: submitting an application to the registry office, paying fees, etc. Thus, it is planned to cover the maximum number of life situations faced by the population and, accordingly, as much as possible to facilitate the search for related services.
Of course, the list of services for each life situation will not be fixed, as soon as any new service related to a particular life situation is launched, it will be added to the corresponding block. More news is expected on the upcoming launch of the updated version of the presentation portal.
“In 2017, a version of the Single Portal was launched, in which the services are provided personalized for the user and are available after authorization. In the updated version, we simplified the registration process and completely automated it. We try to use the best foreign experience, so the new version of EPIGU is a lightweight version of an existing site, with a more user-friendly interface and the ability to use the services of the portal without much effort. For example, we visually lightened the main page and removed all unnecessary information from it, which more confused than helped. Internal pages are also easier to use. The color scheme has become more diverse and pleasant to perceive. Now the user can create his own widget in his personal account from the set of public services he needs,” continues Emil Gimranov.
SPIPS was developed and launched by the Unified Integrator UZINFOCOM in July 2013. The project was created as an element of the e-government system. The launch of the SPIPS outlined a new format for public authorities to work with the population, allowing citizens and legal entities to receive public services in electronic form.
A new stage of refinement of the portal, initiated by NAPU, made it possible to simplify the receipt of public services and improve usability.
