Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new service called "Mesta" has been introduced in Tashkent, allowing users to conveniently search for and choose suitable organizations. This service complements the Yandex Go app, helping both residents and tourists select places for recreation and daily tasks, book services, and easily navigate to desired locations—all within a single app.
Users can find the desired organization through the search bar, and discovering new places is made easy through main categories such as shops, restaurants, beauty services, hotels, car services, health, sports, and entertainment. The service also includes a city map with convenient filters. For instance, users can filter places by type of organization, rating, business hours, and availability of Wi-Fi. Locations can also be sorted by distance.
Additionally, the service offers curated lists of places on various topics, from popular cafes to the best beauty salons. These lists are featured on the main page of the service, helping both visitors and locals explore new places in the city.
From these lists, users can access detailed profiles of organizations, which include photos, ratings based on user reviews, and comments from previous visitors.
Once a place is selected, users can engage in a chat with the administrator or directly book a service online from the profile. For example, users can schedule a manicure, haircut, or reserve a table at a café. They can then book a taxi to the location without leaving the app.
The booking widget allows users to easily manage their appointments, with the option to move or cancel them at any time. A reminder about the appointment will appear on the Yandex Go homepage on the day of the visit.
The "Mesta" service is regularly updated, incorporating data from Yandex Maps. Currently, it is available in the capital, and future plans include expanding the service to all regions of Uzbekistan. To start using the service, users need to update the Yandex Go app from Google Play Market or the App Store.
