Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Tajik government is drawing up the country’s regional power supply schedule, Avesta reported quoting Barq-i Tojik [Tajik Electricity].

According to the source, regions will have power supply after the government approves a new power supply schedule.

"The country imported about 13m kWh of electricity over the past twenty four hours, and Turkmenistan accounts for10.7m kWh of this amount and the rest was imported from Uzbekistan," the source said.

The price of Turkmen power and its transit has not changed and amounts to 3.3 cents per kW, the source added.

Avesta learnt in the Tajik Ministry of Energy and Industry that 19.7m kWh of electricity was generated in the country over the past twenty four hours, and the Norak hydroelectric power plant produced 9.5m kWh of this figure.

Turkmenistan resumed power supply to Tajikistan.
