Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government Resolution approved the “Administrative Regulations for the provision of public services for inclusion in the register of professional mediators.”

Accordingly, an individual (applicant) who has a certificate of completion of a special training course and has expressed a desire to be included in the register, regardless of the address of permanent or temporary registration, applies directly to any public service center based on the principle of extraterritoriality, or registers to receive public services in electronic form on EPIGU.

After entering the necessary information into the application form, the applicant verifies the accuracy of the information and signs it.

There is no fee for the provision of public services.

When an applicant applies, his application form is filled out and sent electronically to the relevant territorial justice body within 10 minutes after approval by the applicant.

The register of professional mediators is formed and maintained electronically.

A professional mediator may be excluded from the Register in the following cases:

when submitting an application for exclusion from the Register;

in the event of his death, or when a court decision declaring him dead comes into force;

when his legal capacity is limited or declared incompetent in accordance with the established procedure;

upon entry into force of a court verdict finding the mediator guilty of committing a crime;

upon appointment or election to a public office, with the exception of notaries;

when carrying out criminal prosecution against a mediator;

if it is impossible to obtain information about the mediator for more than one year, based on the conclusion of the relevant structural unit of the territorial justice body;

when leaving Uzbekistan for permanent residence.

A professional mediator is excluded from the Register based on a decision of the territorial justice authority.

This regulation comes into force on 1 January 2024.
