Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held between Uzbekneftegaz and the head of Schlumberger’s Central Asian region to discuss projects aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation, introducing new technologies, and improving the efficiency of geological exploration efforts.

Founded in 1926, Schlumberger is one of the world’s largest companies in the oil and gas sector, belonging to the "Big Four." It offers its clients digital solutions and innovative technologies that enhance the efficient use of energy resources. The company provides its services in over 120 countries, leveraging its global expertise.

Uzbekneftegaz has been successfully collaborating with Schlumberger since 2019. Through joint efforts, more than five major projects in the oil and gas industry have been implemented.

Currently, effective cooperation continues on the implementation of the Program for the Formation and Monitoring of Geological and Technical Measures for the current year. This also includes the engagement of high-quality services in well construction (drilling tools and solutions) and the intensification of hydrocarbon production.

As a result of the meeting, both sides agreed to further develop new joint projects aimed at the extraction and efficient use of energy resources.
