Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the decision of the Central Bank’s Board from 16 May 2020, Nazarov Akmal Narimanovich was appointed as press secretary and adviser to the chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on information policy.

The appointment was made according to the conclusion of the Agency of Information and Mass Communications.

A.N. Nazarov was born in the city of Tashkent. In 2004 he graduated from the Uzbek State University of World Languages with a bachelor’s degree in International Journalism, in 2007 he graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan with a master’s degree in public relations.

He began his career in 2004 as a commentator at the National News Agency of Uzbekistan. Later, he worked as a news editor on Poytaxt FM radio, a correspondent for Bank Akhborotnomasi newspapers, Bankovskiye Vesti, editor of the innovation department and deputy chief editor of Market, Money and Credit magazine.

From 2008 to 2018, he served as the chief editor of the Bank Akhborotnomasi newspapers - Banking News. In 2018-2019, he worked as a senior inspector, chief inspector of the Department of Public Relations and Legal Information of the State Tax Committee.

Since January 2020, A.N. Nazarov worked as the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Relations and Communication Policy of the Central Bank.

It should be noted that the press secretary of the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan is simultaneously the director of the Department of Public Relations and Communication Policy.
