New plant on hosiery production launched in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Mir-Ulug'bek-MX LLC launched new capacities on production of 2.5 million pairs of hosiery products a year, UzA reported.

The agency said that new enterprise has been launched in Jizzakh city, Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan.

Mir-Ulug'bek-MX LLC head Mirzali Oqilov said that new equipment was installed at the enterprise and some 56 people received jobs.

The report said that some 116 projects were implemented within programme on development of industry, which helped to create 915 new jobs in nine months of 2012. The projects were implemented in textile, pharmaceuticals, publishing, etc.
