Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to implement the third of the "Five Initiatives" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which envisages the creation of conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population and youth, attracting youth to entrepreneurship in the field of information technology, the Ministry for Development information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the creation of conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population, and especially by young people.

To create an IT Center in Khazarasp district of Khorezm region, an empty building belonging to the Khorezm branch of Uzbektelecom was repaired and equipped with modern equipment, projectors and other technical means.

The opening ceremony of the IT Center was attended by the Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan K. Yuldashev, the head of the territorial department of the Ministry Z. Karimov, the khokim of the Khazarasp region U. Masharipov, as well as a group of active young people and teachers-mentors.

In this IT Center, you can study such specialties as:

- Computer literacy;

- Advanced work with MS Office;

- Web programming languages;

- Basics of graphics and design;

- Creation of mobile applications;

- Python programming language;

- Mobile robotics based on Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms;

- As well as esports: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

In the future, in this IT Center, about 20 thousand students of secondary schools of the district, studying in grades 5-11, will be engaged in the creation of innovative developments in the field of information technology, programming and the development of start-up projects.

At the same time, it is planned to improve the qualifications of employees of enterprises and organizations in the training center.

It is also worth noting that currently 3,018 boys and girls are registered on the uzbekcoders.uz platform in Khorezm region.

To date, 51 IT Centers have already been opened in the country. By the end of 2021, it is planned to open 203 IT Centers throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.
