Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Agrippina Shin has been appointed as the rector of Bucheon University in Tashkent, according to the press service of the Prime Minister.

Previously, Shin served as the First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan and Director of the Preschool Education Agency. Recently, the Preschool Education Agency was dissolved.

The previous rector of Bucheon University, Viktor Nam, has become the Executive Director of the Tashkent branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after Herzen, replacing Kakhramon Olimov.

Ikbol Melikuziev has been appointed as the Director of the Tashkent branch of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after Gerasimov, replacing Eldar Yuldashev.

Eldor Shermanov has been appointed as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Acting Rector of the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts named after Yunus Rajabi.
