Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new head of the Traffic Safety Department (UBDD) of the Tashkent region has been appointed. Colonel Aziz Sadirov has taken the position, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Sadirov was introduced during a meeting attended by Sherzod Ibragimov, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Traffic Safety Department, Tokhir Aripov, Chief of the Tashkent Regional Police Department, and the department’s personnel.
The meeting emphasized the importance of improving the efficiency of road safety efforts, particularly on highways connecting the capital with other regions, given the high volume of traffic passing through the Tashkent region.
Previously, Aziz Sadirov served as the head of the Traffic Safety Department of the Kashkadarya region.
