Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, an extraordinary report-selective conference of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan was held, in which a new chairman of the organization was elected.
The conference was attended by Vice Prime Minister for Development of Agricultural and Food Spheres Uktam Barnoev, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Dilmurod Nabiev, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Kasymov, Chairman of the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development Bahrom Norkobilov, also responsible persons of the above organizations, management federations and regional representatives. Participants from the capital gathered in the Central Studio, and regional delegates took part online.
The issues discussed on the agenda were the election of a new chairman of the federation, his deputies, members of the Executive Committee, as well as amendments and additions to the Charter of the federation. The event was hosted by the NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasymov. During the conference, work on the development of horse breeding and equestrian sports in the country, an increase in the number of thoroughbred horses, the training of qualified athletes in this sport, as well as the implementation of decrees adopted by our government, were analyzed.
Uktam Barnoev was nominated for the post of chairman of the Federation as Vice Prime Minister for the Development of the Agricultural and Food Spheres of the Republic of Uzbekistan. By unanimous decision, Barnoev Uktam Isaevich was elected chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan. Feruz Abdullaev became his deputy, and Kamol Khudoyberdiev was elected deputy chairman - Secretary General of the Federation (on a regular basis). Bahrom Norkobilov and the head of the Uzbegim Otlari stud farm Avaz Ismoilov were elected deputy chairmen of the federation on a voluntary basis.
Also, experienced specialists in this field Bahromjon Gaziev and Akmal Toshov will continue their activities as vice-chairmen of the federation on a voluntary basis.
Further, 15 people were included in the executive committee of the federation. In addition, decisions were approved to introduce amendments and additions to the Charter of the organization.
