Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A joint meeting of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milly Tiklanish” and its faction in the lower house of parliament was held on 13 June at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.

It addressed issues related to the election of the head of the faction of the party and the nomination of his candidacy for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. At the meeting, it was proposed to nominate the candidacy of the chairman of the Central Council of the Milly Tiklanish DP, a member of the faction Alisher Kadirov.

On the same day, at a meeting held in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, the issue of the release of Sarvar Otamuratov from the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and a member of the Committee of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on innovative development, information policy and information technologies was adopted, a corresponding resolution was adopted.

At the suggestion of the faction of the Democratic Party “Milly Tiklanish” Alisher Kadirov was elected as Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
