Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New capacities for generating energy from renewable sources will be built in Bukhara region.
In particular, the Masdar (UAE) plans to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 250 MW in the Alat region.
The project is expected to be completed in December 2025.
ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) and Gezhouba (China) also intend to build renewable energy sources.
The power plants are planned to be connected to the unified energy grid in December 2025. The cost of the “green” project is not specified.
It is expected that by 2030, renewable energy capacity will increase 9 times and amount to 12.5 billion kWh per year.
