Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the President’s resolution “On measures to radically improve the system of providing postal services”, an online trading platform will be launched by 1 February 2021 and a system was introduced for placing products for bidding throughout the republic, especially in remote and hard-to-reach areas, and delivering sold products to addresses using the network of the National operator.
By 1 March 2021, a training center will be created with the involvement of qualified postal specialists, as well as advanced training will be provided until the end of 2021 for 2,000 employees, in 2022 - for all the rest.
Until 1 April 2021, pilot / standard projects for the introduction of automated self-service complexes (parcel terminals) will be implemented, designed to receive postal items received in the name of customers, in one postal facility in the city of Tashkent, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers.
By the end of 2021, this service will be introduced in another 150 facilities.
Until 1 July 2021, an automated system will be launched, providing the ability to receive, sort and track postal items online.
Until 1 May 2021, a system of full servicing of bank plastic cards will be introduced (replenishment of cards with cash, cash withdrawal, identification of individuals) at post offices.
By 1 July 2021, such banking services will be introduced in postal hubs as accepting applications for loans to individuals on behalf of commercial banks based on outsourcing, accepting payments to repay loans, accepting daily trade receipts of legal entities.
By the end of 2021, 4 logistics centers will be created, including services for the storage and delivery of goods for online stores.
From 1 April 2021, at least 13 types of public services will be introduced on the basis of outsourcing in postal facilities located in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
