Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Starting from 22 May, the State Committee for Tourism Development has been conducting interesting workshops on preparing unique and delicious dishes with the participation of famous chef and restaurateur Bahriddin Chustiy. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of tourism.

Organizers note that all video cooking lessons can be viewed on the sites Online-tourism.uz and Uzbekistan.travel.

During the pandemic, the global tourism industry is going through a difficult period. Nevertheless, the government of Uzbekistan is taking steps to promote the country’s tourism potential through innovative technologies. The development of online tourism in Uzbekistan was the first step in this direction. One of the main tasks of online tourism is the promotion of new types of tourism, in particular, gastronomic tourism.

In order to support and further popularize interest in Uzbek gastronomy, the State Committee for Tourism Development decided to create a new gastronomic project that reflects the richness and diversity of the culinary art of Uzbek cuisine.

The project is based on video tutorials on cooking unique Uzbek dishes. Even some locals do not know the recipe for these dishes, but they are very easy to cook at home.

So, from 22 May, for 5 consecutive days on the sites Online-tourism.uz and Uzbekistan.travel, watch master classes in preparing unique and delicious dishes with the participation of Bahriddin Chustiy!

The first video lesson is devoted to the preparation of an ancient dish of Khorezm cuisine Shivit Osh.
