New enterprise to process silk cocoons

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Surxon-Termiz-Silk, enterprise on processing silk cocoons, commissioned in Termez, Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan.

The enterprise is equipped with modern technology, which can process 400 tonnes of raw material a year, UzA reported.

The company produces silk threat of A-4 grade, which is highly demanded in external market. It is planed to export products for over US$2 million, the report said.
