Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” plans to introduce a new diesel train on the “Tashkent–Bukhara–Tashkent” route in the near future, according to the company’s press service.
The train was developed through a collaboration between JSC “Tashkent Passenger Car Construction and Repair Plant” and JSC “Uztemiryulyulovchi.”
The train consists of 12 cars, including 2 VIP-class cars, 4 business-class cars, 4 economy-class cars, a dining car, and a diesel car. The seating configuration in the business-class cars can be adjusted depending on the route direction.
The train is currently undergoing testing on the designated route.
The journey between Tashkent and Bukhara will take 6 hours, covering a distance of 592 kilometers.
Once testing is complete, the train will be put into operation.
One of the key advantages of the new cars is their high level of comfort, complemented by a modern cooling system that remains operational even during stops, setting these cars apart from similar offerings.
