New diesel locomotive presented in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent Plant on Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars open joint stock company hosted a presentation new transport means, produced and modernized at the four largest enterprises of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari. The presentation was held within the 51st Council of the Railway Transport of the CIS and Baltic states.

Uztemiryulmashtamir presented twin unit diesel locomotive UzTE16M. The enterprise repairs over 150 diesel locomotives and electric locomotives, over 350 cargo cars annually.

Tashkent Plant on Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars presented passenger cars with cooling equipment. The cars designed for 36 passengers. Tashkent Plant repairs over 250 passenger cars annually.
