Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs has been appointed in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In accordance with a presidential decree, Olimjon Abdullaev has been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Abdullaev brings extensive experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 2021 to 2024.
