According to the resolution of the President, Anvar Karimov was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan.

The new Deputy Minister of Finance will oversee the issues of tax and customs tariff policy, accounting and audit methodology, pricing and coordination of the return of the excess amount for VAT, financing of agro-industrial complex and the activity of the State Inspectorate for Insurance Supervision.

Prior to this, Anvar Karimov worked as the head of the Main Financial Department of the Khokimiyat of the Syrdarya region.
