New Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abrorkhuja Akbarovich Turdaliev was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank reports.

It is entrusted with the functions of coordinating prudential supervision of credit institutions, coordinating financial monitoring in credit institutions and currency control, and inspecting credit institutions.

A. Turdaliev was born in 1979 in Tashkent region. In 2000 he graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute, in 2013 from the Banking and Finance Academy.

He began his career in 2000 at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a leading economist, then worked as a chief economist, head of a department, head of a department, and deputy director of a department. Prior to his appointment, he served as Director of the Department for Prudential Supervision of Credit Institutions of the Central Bank.
