Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The sole shareholder of Uzbekistan Airways - the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, by its decision from 10 March 2023, appointed Shukhrat Khudaykulov as Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways. 

Previously, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commerce and Tourism of this organization. This was reported by the press service of the carrier.

Shukhrat Khudaykulov was born on 26 July 1984 in Urgench. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation with a degree in Organization of Air Transportation.

In 2006, he joined the team of Uzbekistan Airways and began his career as an agent for organizing air transportation services at the Tashkent International Airport.

In the period 2006-2019, he worked in various positions of Uzbekiston Airways, including in the representative offices of the airline abroad, as well as the Director of the Commercial Department of the the air carrier. Since 2019, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Board for Commerce and Tourism of Uzbekistan Airways JSC
