Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — New bus stops, fully produced locally, will soon be installed in Tashkent, according to the press service of the capital’s khokimiyat (municipal administration).
The stops will come in two versions, with heights of 3.2 and 6.5 meters. Their structure will consist of 60% metal, 10% plastic, and 30% glass, with wooden benches.
The stops will feature Wi-Fi, USB ports, and multimedia screens for advertising banners. They will also be equipped with emergency call buttons and surveillance cameras.
The windows will be tempered at 800°C, ensuring durability and resistance to temperature fluctuations from -25°C to +60°C.
The glass will be 12 mm thick. Special gutters will be installed to drain rainwater, and 85 cm of the structure will be embedded underground for stability.
