Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Work is underway on the construction of a new passenger international bus station in Samarkand.

The new bus station will connect Samarkand with all regions of Uzbekistan. The bus station is expected to serve passengers who plan to visit neighboring countries.

The bus station is designed to receive 150 buses, 200 minibuses and 300 cars at the same time.

On the territory of the bus station there will be an administrative building, vehicle repair shops non-linear fixed-route taxi zones, first-aid posts, as well as social facilities.
