Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Francois Gauthier, director of Uzbekistan National Human Rights Center Akmal Saidov, Deputy Speaker of Legislative Chamber Ulugbek Muhammadiev and Chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations Latif Gulyamov and other MPs participated at the event. The participants considered development of cooperation between France and Uzbekistan, including in legal sphere.

Over 100 state officials, legal experts familiarized with the publication, which includes materials of the conference, which was held in May 2011, and the first translation of the French constitution of the Fifth Republic in Uzbekistan.

The participants expressed hope to hold the second conference in 2012, which will boost dialogue and exchange of information in constitutional law.
