The Center for treating the bone-related diseases has been inaugurated at the Regional Hospital No.1 in the city of Termez in the Surkhandarya Province, the southernmost area of Uzbekistan, Jahon reported quoting the local newspapers.
"This creates enormous comfort for the local population," the hospital head doctor Akhmad Dustbaev has been quoted as saying.
"Up until now we used to send the severely ill patients to establish the precise diagnosis to the medical facility in Tashkent. The new Center has now all conditions to diagnosis and treat the complexities of orthopedic diseases and traumas using the latest methods in the sphere".
Soon, the Center authorities are expected to install the computer hospital equipment, the report also said.
The speakers at the Center inauguration ceremony have said that profound work is now under way in Uzbekistan to better the medical services, establish the healthy way of life, and reform the healthcare.
