Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has appointed a new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
According to the information agency Dunyo, Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev has been appointed as the head of Uzbekistan's diplomatic mission in Bishkek and has already arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan since 2018.
Niyazkhodjaev replaces Khurshid Mirzakhidov, who led the Uzbek diplomatic mission in Bishkek from 2020 to 2024.
