The Ambassador handed copies of his credentials, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During the conversation the topical issues of Uzbek-Iranian relations were discussed.

A particular attention was paid to transport-communication aspects of bilateral relations. It was noted that practical implementation of pentalateral Treaty on Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman-Qatar transport corridor will create conducive conditions for increasing the volumes of transit goods, will allow interregional exchanges to rise substantially.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered at the meeting.
