Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the "First Bell" is being held in 336 secondary schools of the capital and the first day of the 2023-2024 academic year is being celebrated, the press service of the capital's khokimiyat reports.

In the current academic year, 53,764 children were admitted to the first grade, and today they received gifts from the President in their schools and started general secondary education.

Today, 493,285 young residents of our capital are covered by school education, and in the current academic year, there will be updates and changes for them in general education subjects, foreign languages and vocational training.
