Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The new academic year in all general education schools across Uzbekistan will begin on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.

The first lesson will be held under the motto “For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People!” and organized in the format of a thematic session titled “Hour of the Future.”

This year, more than 738,000 first-graders will receive the “President’s Gift,” which includes 12 types of school supplies. The ceremonial presentation of these gifts will be part of the festivities marking the start of the school year.
