The report said about 94 tour operators and hotels work in Samarkand city now. They render services for about 11 billion soums.

The newspaper said the number of tourists, visiting Samarkand, is increasing. It added that internal tourism is rising too. About 200,000 people from various regions of Uzbekistan visit Samarkand.
