TeliaSonera said that the strong growth trend is a result of strong subscription intake and the price increase that was implemented in Uzbekistan during mid-March.
Subscribers’ base of Coscom, which renders service under UCell brand, made up 5.416 million at the end of the second quarter of 2010 against 3.923 million in the same period of 2009.
According to the company, MOU (Average monthly minutes of usage per subscriber) increased from 265 minutes per month in the second quarter of 2009 to 297 minutes per months in the same period of 2010.
