Net income of Uzbekenergo grows by 54.7% in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekenergo state joint stock company increased its net income by 54.7% from 212.2 billion soums to 328.27 billion soums in 2010, the annual report of the company said.

In line with the report, the power station of Uzbekenergo produced 50 billion K.W.H. of electricity in 2010, of which 43.5 billion K.W.H. were produced by thermal power stations and 6.5 billion K.W.H. by hydro power stations.

The consumer supplied consumers with the electricity in the volume of 413 billion K.W.H. and 7.7 million Gcal heating energy. The volume of exports made up US$76.74 billion.

Net revenue grew from 1.75 trillion soums in 2009 to 2.07 trillion soums in 2010. Prime cost grew from 1.48 trillion soums to 1.65 trillion soums in the reporting period.

Expenses of the company grew from 31.69 billion soums in 2009 to 43.29 billion soums in 2010, the report said.

Income from financial activity grew from 24.32 billion soums in 2009 to 48.33 billion soums in 2010. Expenses from financial activity made up 37.17 billion soums in 2010 against 12.4 billion soums in 2009.

Uzbekenergo’s assets grew from 2.44 trillion soums in 2009 to 4.03 trillion soums in 2010. At the same time, long-term assets rose from 655.9 billin soums to 167 trillion soums in the reporting period. Current assets made up 2.36 trillion soums in 2010 against 1.79 trillion soums in 2009.

Own capital of the company grew from 944 billion soums in 2009 to 1.23 trillion soums in 2010 The charter capital made up 359.46 billion soums.

The company’s liabilities made up 2.8 trillion soums in 2010 compared to 1.5 trillion soums in 2009, the report underlined.
