Net income of Hamkorbank reaches 11.789bn soums in 2009
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of Hamkorbank open joint stock commercial bank comprised 11.789 billion soums in 2009, the bank’s audited balance said.

In line with the report, net assets of Hamkorbank rose by 35% in 2009, while loan portfolio by 20 billion soums. In the result, the aggregate capital of the bank reached 287.165 billion soums.

The balance on loans made up 152.646 billion soums and the investments volume reached 6.614 billion soums at the end of 2009.

Aggregate equity capital of Hamkorbank was 36.697 billion soums, of which 19.503 billion soums were charter capital and 17.193 billion soums – undistributed income.

Hamkorbank open joint-stock commercial bank was founded in 1991 and currently it possesses 26 branches and 125 mini-banks across Uzbekistan. The bank started its work in Andijan city and now operated in all regions of Uzbekistan, rendering banking services to corporate clients and population.

Currently, Hamkorbank is placing 60 million ordinary shares with par value of 100 soums each. The bank registered emission of shares with regular. In the result, the charter capital made up 21 billion soums. The authorized capital will make up 203.757 million ordinary shares and 16,425 million preferential shares with nominal value of 100 soums.

As earlier reported, in the early May International Finance Corporation, member of the World Bank, became the shareholder of Hamkorbank OJSCB. IFC purchased 14.5% stake for US$3 million.
