In line with this resolution, nearly 900 people have been granted amnesty in [central] Samarqand Region, Uzbek National News Agency website reported.

Special attention is being paid to the issue of providing the released people with jobs. Over 1,000 jobs have been allocated in the region for this purpose. Over 130 former convicts have been provided with jobs so far.
