National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activities (NBU) signed a cooperation agreement with State Corporation Bank of Development and Foreign Economic Activities of Russia (Vnesheconombank).

The agreement was signed on the result of the meeting of the head of NBU Saidahmad Rakhimov and head of Vnesheconombank Vladimir Dmitriev. The sides noted that cooperation is developing fast between Uzbekistan and Russia.

The agreement envisages development of long-term economic cooperation and strartegic partnership, support development of investment relations between two countries through realization of joint programmes and projects.

The document stipulates cooperation in currency, financial-credit and transaction operations in hard currency, project financing, attraction of syndicated credits to finance projects, creation of consortiums and other interbank unions.
