The document was inked in Washington within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States.

The Memorandum envisages the resumption of cooperation with the Eximbank of the United States for trade finance, as well as the provision of medium and long-term loans to finance the export of goods and services from the United States to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The signing of the Memorandum will allow to finance projects, both large state companies and small and private businesses in Uzbekistan, providing for the supply of high-tech equipment from the United States.
