The documents were signed within the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan.

In order to strengthen cooperation and further develop and improve the system of interbank settlements between banks, the "Interbank Agreement on Establishing Correspondent Relations" was concluded.

In addition, the "Agreement on Cooperation in Trade Finance" has been signed, which envisages financing of transactions related to the export of goods and services from the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan.

Within the credit line, it is planned to finance projects directed at increasing export of goods and services from the Republic of Uzbekistan in various industries (textile, construction materials, food, household chemicals, agricultural products, electrical engineering, automotive, chemical and other industries).
