The cost of the project, implemented with South Korean NeoPlant, made up US$20.4 million. Currently, the construction works are underway.

The capacity of the plant will be 12,000 tonnes of silicon a year. The launch of the capacity will help to create 350 new jobs.

The enterprise is also planning to launch production of fertilizes, including which contain nitric, phosphorus and potassium.

Navoiazot produces over 100 types of chemical products, which are used in various sectors of economy – production of non-ferrous metals, light industry, furniture production, electronics, agriculture, pharmaceutics and aviation. The enterprise exports products to over 20 countries.

In 2011, the enterprise produced goods for 421.4 billion soums. The enterprise also used investments for 27.8 billion soums.
