Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the results of January-June 2022, the gross domestic product per capita in the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 10.99 million soums and increased by 3.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
High volumes of gross regional product (GRP) per capita were noted in Navoi region (30.94 million soums), Tashkent city (23.8 million soums) and Tashkent region (14.53 million soums).
The smallest volumes of GRP per capita were observed in Surkhandarya (5.79 million soums), Namangan (5.84 million soums) and Samarkand (6.15 millionsoums) regions.
In the current period, high growth rates of GRP per capita were recorded in Tashkent (7.4%), Andijan (6.2%) and Khorezm (4.4%) regions.
At the same time, in the city of Tashkent (1.4%) and Surkhandarya region (1.8%), the growth rate of GRP per capita was below the Republican level (3.3%).
