The venture will produce 18 types of ready products. Uzkimyosanoat said that hygienic certificate and certificate of conformance were received for products. According to the feasibility study, the capacities of the venture make up 3.24 million goods a year.
The project cost is US$2.88 million. The equipments were delivered from South Korea. It is planned that the venture will produce import-replacing goods for 687 million soums till the end of 2011.
China’s Hunan Aloft participated at creation of the Uzbek-Chinese joint venture Navoiy Hunan Pulp, which will produce children diapers and other hygienic products from cellulose.
Total cost of the project is US$3.78 million. It is expected that goods for 1.8 billion soums will be produced at the venture till the end of 2011. About 30% of goods will be imported.
After the enterprise reach its full capacity, it will annually produce 200 million children diapers and the same amount of hygienic products, Uzkimyosanoat said.
