Navoi Airport Strengthens Cargo Cooperation with Mongolia: Over 3,000 Breeding Sheep Delivered
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Navoi International Airport continues to actively handle cargo flights between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
Recently, the airport received its third flight under bilateral cooperation, delivering 1,017 breeding sheep with a total weight of 35 tons. On return flights from Uzbekistan to Mongolia, fresh fruits and melons are exported, further strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.
To date, 3,017 breeding sheep weighing a total of 107 tons have been delivered to Mongolia, with plans to import 100,000 animals by the end of this year. On return flights, the airline KAP KG exported 11,596 kg of grapes, 2,178 kg of melons, and 4,247 kg of watermelons to Mongolia.
This cargo exchange opens new opportunities for agricultural development, expands foreign trade cooperation, and reinforces economic relations between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
