Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the support of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL), with the assistance of IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH, the largest German manufacturers at the German national stand "Made in Germany" will take part in the international food exhibition in Tashkent for the first time.

Nine German enterprises will take part in the 21st international exhibition "Food, Ingredients and Production Technologies, UzFood 2022", which starts on 29 March 2022 in Tashkent.

Germany is preparing to be represented by such major players in the world market as BAADER Food Systems, WACHTEL GmbH, Alimex Lebensmitteltechnik GmbH, Hans Binder technologies GmbH, REICH Thermoprozesstechnik GmbH, Anton Ohlert GmbH & Co., SN Maschinenbau GmbH, Plattenhardt + Wirth GmbH, Kronen GmbH.

The food industry has become one of the important segments in terms of the degree of its contribution to the economy of Uzbekistan in recent years. This area is mainly engaged in the processing of local raw materials, great attention is paid to the processing of agricultural products, in order to provide the population with food products.

Participation in UZFOOD - 2022 will allow German companies to take a decisive step in strengthening cooperation with representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries, thereby laying a bridge for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.

UZFOOD 2022 is one of the most important events in the Central Asian food industry and an indicator that reflects the latest trends, reforms and achievements of the industry as a whole. In 2021, the exhibition gathered about 122 participants and more than 5.5 thousand visitors not only from Uzbekistan, but also from neighboring countries.
