Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Pakistani transportation and logistics company National Logistics Corporation (NLC) plans to open a logistics center in Uzbekistan and expand warehouse capacities at the Termez Cargo Centre. This was reported by the news agency Dunyo.
The issue was discussed during a meeting between Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, and the head of NLC, Farrukh Shahzad Rao.
Farrukh Shahzad Rao highlighted Uzbekistan's strategic location, which makes it a convenient transit hub for accessing markets in the CIS countries and Europe.
NLC is already cooperating with Uzbekistan Railways (АО "Uzbekiston temir yo‘llari") within the framework of the "North-South" corridor and is working with local logistics operators.
