Annual ICT summit attracts attention of large number of ICT specialists and it is one of the main events in the ICT sphere in Uzbekistan. Over 400 delegates from Uzbekistan and foreign countries participate at the summit.

The event is organized by the Coordination Council for Development of Computerisation and ICT, the Committee on Information and Communication Technologies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization (UzACI), United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan through ICT Policy Project (ICTP) and Association of IT Companies and Organizations of Uzbekistan.

It is expected that ICT Summit 2009 will cover such issues as ICT regulatory policy, achievements and problems in realization of national ICT development programme in Uzbekistan, development of infrastructure, information security, etc.

Participants will develop proposals on further development of ICT in Uzbekistan and adopt corresponding resolution of the summit.
