The event is directed at further developing trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and determining new directions of bilateral cooperation.

It is expected that companies and enterprises, working in various industries of Uzbekistan, will present their products and services.

As earlier reported, National Exhibition of Azerbaijan Republic was held in Tashkent’s UzExpoCenter on 5-7 November 2010.

These exhibitions were organized within implementation of agreements, achieved during the official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev to Uzbekistan on 27-28 September 2010.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan fell from US$37.7 million in January-September 2009 to US$17.9 million in the same period of 2010.
