Fund Forum said that 24 sponsors, who supported “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-tuys”, received certificates.

National annual competition “The Woman of the Year” is held annually to support women, who take care after family and achieve significant results in work and public life. Over 92,000 women sent their applications to participate at the contest in last four years. This year, some 30,125 applications were received to the contest.

Among finalists were heads of enterprises, doctors and teachers, who achieved success in their profession.

Nasiba Nurova received diploma from Gulnara Karimova, statue and main prize – Matiz automobile. Each finalist received cosmetics from GULI brand, exclusive vase and certificates.

“1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-tuys” is large scale charity projects, which helped to create 952 new families and sunnat-tuys (circumcision) were hold for 1,207 boys.

Some 15 women received grants within Mehr Nuri Foundation’s programme “Grants for development of family business activities”. About 15 winners got grants within the programme “Grants for development of small and medium entrepreneurship and farming”.

Fund Forum said that some 22.5 million soums were issued within the programme “Grants for development of family business activities” in 2012 and 37.5 million soums within the programme “Grants for development of small and medium entrepreneurship and farming”.
