Bunyodkor’s lead at the top of the table has been reduced to six points following second-placed Pakhtakor’s 3-1 victory over Shurtan. Nasaf are third in the table with 31 points, 11 adrift of Bunyodkor and five less than Pakhtakor.

Irakli Klimiashivili, Timur Abduhaliqov and Egor Krimets were on target for Pakhtakor while Shahboz Erkinov pulled one back for the losers.

Nasaf will travel to Thailand for the first leg of their AFC Cup quarter-final against Chonburi FC on September 13 before hosting them in the return leg on September 27.
